Steve Maxwell
has been playing professionally for over 20 years. He loves and plays Classic Rock. Steve has been in numerous bands in the Chicago and Central Florida areas playing clubs, shows, festivals, even doing live radio. He was the lead guitarist and lead vocalist for Lyx, White Midnight, SureShot, Mirage, Alicia and The Steam, and The Synergistics.

Steve has the sound of a complete band using MIDI and his electric guitar. Steve's computer plays as many as 23 instruments along with him and it even sounds like he has background singers! One of the most important features of Steve's show is that he is NEVER too loud. Listen carefully, because Steve likes to change the lyrics to the Classic Rock songs he plays.

You might have seen Steve at The Goose Island Brewery in Wrigleyville, CJ Arthur's in Wilmette, Ravinia BBQ and Grill in Highland Park, Diggers, Flippers, Tiffany’s, or The Fairbanks Inn in Central Florida.

Stuart and the Freshmen have been playing together since 7th grade. Their current drummer joined the band during 8th grade. The Bonneville Flats. Land speed records. Jet cars. Big guitars and steady rhythms. Cheap beers and fine bourbon. Two parts rock, one part roll, a dash of jazz and more than a splash of twang. Best description thus far: "Dude, your sound... it's like indie-rockabilly with a swing jazz, pop rock, blues thing. Wait.. what!?" H'yup, sounds right.

The Bonneville Flats consists of Tony Cordero (guitars, voice), Paul Martinez (bass) and Paul Moyano (drums).

The Pipe Dreams
met each other in the suburbs north of Chicago. Derek Simon and Cody Shear attended the same high school, and their passion for writing and playing music drew them together. They sought out virtuoso drummer Alec Levy, a percussionist with a passion for jazz and classical music as well as rock and roll. Soon Jonah Shear, Cody's younger brother, joined the fold on keyboards and synthesizers, adding a third unique voice to the band's distinct vocal blend.

The Pipe Dreams are inspired by greats such as The Beatles and The Band, incorporating several lead vocal lines into their songs, which have elements of funk and reggae but can only be called rock and roll. The Pipe Dreams' roots are in Deerfield, as most of their family still lives there; Jonah still attends Deerfield High School. They now call Chicago their home and want to play throughout the city as much as possible, bringing their music to as many ears as possible. They just released a self-produced studio effort in late August 2010, which they enjoy passing out to people for free. They also have more written material than they know what to do with. Combine that with a passion for playing classic rock covers with funky twists, and a Pipe Dreams show is irresistible. Concert highlights include playing at Blottopia X last year in South Elgin, as well as exhilarating gigs around the Highwood area.

The New Originals: It was a dark and stormy night. The cherubs were all in their tents when, all of the sudden, lightning struck. Instantly the rain stopped and smoke began to rise from the center of the village. All the little cherubs wandered towards the source of the smoke until, at the center, they found a large stage. On that stage, five very attractive people huddled in the center, glistening in their nakedness. Upon noticing the cherubs, they came out of their huddle and walked up to their magical microphones. They announced in unison: "Hello, we are The New Originals. We wish to play music for you." The music began to play, the cherubs began to cheer, and all evil was forever destroyed. You can stream The New Original's debut EP digitally on their website.

The Warning Label was formed in early 2004 in the Niles North Jazz Band (directed by John Jones/Elton Eislie). After a concert at Oakton Community College, the rhythm section, Mike Zabrin, Kevin Iles and Aaron Zolotor, began to jam in a practice room.

They started playing venues around town and really got the word out about their music. Mike, who is the bassist of The Warning Label and writes the lyrics for the band, says "It was like once you heard one of our songs, you knew the words. People remember them and it's a great feeling." The Warning Label went on playing gigs such as Bill's Blues, Lincolnwood Fest, Old Town, Thillens Stadium, and gigs booked by BigTime Entertainment which helped get the word out about the band.

Too Far to Fall was founded in the summer of 2008 by music lovers Chris Glattard, Max Seifert, and Noah Lande when they decided to put down the earphones and lay the foundation for their alternative rock band. With Chris and Max at the helm both with aspirations to belt out their own take on the modern rock scene and Noah's experience at both bass and guitar they soon recruited a fourth member, David Glen, whose skills were a needed addition to what is now Too Far To Fall. The fifth and last member, Xavi Guitart, is the talented drummer/guitarist of Too Far To Fall. The result is a sound that is as melodic as it is original and complex.

Viewers Like You
was born after a piano player and a guitar player jammed at a friend's Halloween party and liked what they heard.

Lead guitarist Spenser Scheinman found a bassist in his brother Scott Scheinman, while adding drummer Luke Schneider and front-man Aaron White to the mix with Josh Berry manning the keys. It was soon apparent that they had something special with their fresh mix of piano rock and pop/punk sounds.

Listeners who enjoy Boys Like Girls, The Fray, or Third Eye Blind will find something they like in every performance. Viewers Like You! is a North Shore band on the rise with no plans on slowing down soon.

What Goes Unseen...
, formed in August 2008, its getting to be known among other local bands in their community. Vocalist Greg Rothstein (pictured on the right) and Guitarist Mitch Gold (pictured on the left) have moved from their head banging days as hard rockers to a more chill and relaxed acoustic rock sound. Rothstein and Gold feel that this project is what they as musicians have been looking for. They agree they could be head banging and cranking out some thrash rock, but that would have no substantial meaning to them. By performing acoustic rock they are able to show their real talents as musicians. What keeps this band going are the songs they choose. "These songs are not about bright and happy things" Says Rothstein, "We chose covers that are originally hard rock, but that can be made into an acoustic sound. This balances out our love for hard rock, and at the same time it gives a more musical aspect to it."

Will Jacobs & the Back Alley Blues Band
are influenced by artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, and Jimi Hendrix, but their sound and songs are unique. The band plays in and around Chicagoland and Will Jacobs, a noted blues musician in the Chicagoland area, has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Louis Zagoras, Two For The Blues, Little Ed & Blues The Imperials, Chris Forte, and Sammy Fender.

The band was formed when Will Jacobs and Brandon Waldon began jamming along to Hendrix and Stevie Ray in Brandon's apartment. They continued to jam together regularly throughout 2007. The following year, Will and Brandon began practicing in Will's basement and found a kindred spirit in bass player Mike Zabrin. The trio had instant chemistry and began recording sessions soon after Zabrin joined.
