Skate the Downtown Highland Park Ice Rink
Have you tried the new synthetic ice rink in Downtown Highland Park? Skating hours are Mon.-Thurs. 3:15-6 pm, Fridays 3:15-10 pm, Saturdays 11 am-10 pm and Sundays 11 am-5 pm. Skate admission is $2.00. Rental skates are also available for $2.00. In January, we will be having skate free Tuesdays! (Skate rental fees still apply.)

Joey Jams
Vibe@1935 and local super group, Borrowed Time, will host "Joey Jams". Each Thursday will feature different local guest musicians in various combinations. Borrowed Time members will be there to mingle with the crowd, share their jam band music, and promote good cheer. Among the guest performers will be Matt Feddermann, Lisa Zarov, Dicky Paull, Albie Powers, Mike and Wendi Ezgur, David Simone, Carl Segal and Judy Shatkin. In a generous gesture, Vibe will donate a portion of the bar take, directly to a Deerfield family facing the challenges of their twelve year old boy, Joey, who has significant medical challenges. Other donations will be appreciated, but no obligation will be applied to join in on the fun. Joey may be on hand to perhaps even share his fabulous rap skills. Gene Lim
Gene has spent the last 30 years singing and performing the guitar and piano as both a solo artist, in ensembles, and in various bands. He has played and performed in many venues across the U.S. and Europe, including London, Paris, Munich, Barcelona, Florence, Venice and Salzburg (The home of Mozart!). Most recently, Gene has had the pleasure of performing on two occasions with The Lucky Jackson Band at the House of Blues Main Stage in 2010. Gene is pleased and excited to bring his style and repertoire covering various artists from the 60’s to today to City Park Grill. Stop on by and hear some of your favorites.

Check With Lucy
At the heart of Check With Lucy are the singer-songwriter duo of Jeff Libman and Brad Cole.
